Learnings on the ground

If this how the villagers are learning, that is from the snaps perspective, the reality is a little bit on the harsher side. The street lights are too dim. The learners are aged and cannot see properly. Some people use emergency lights, which also don't illuminate much. Also some times it rains and there are power cuts. In spite of all the hardships many villagers are very serious about learning. Sometimes I wonder what is the motivation for them to learn? They are hardly ambitious to learn. They are not expecting any job opportunities or better life with this basic education. I don't think they are learning for any prizes. What else could be the reason? It could possibly be for the sake of volunteers or for the sake of village. Apparently these villagers wanted their village to achieve 100% literacy and create history. I hope the other illiterates who have not yet started learning would jump on the bandwagon, soon!!
